THE GREAT AMERICAN CLEAN-UP - May 18th

Thanks to all our neighbors who turned out Saturday morning to clean and beautify Creighton Avenue! It was a great first step in preparation for the unveiling of our own Historic Beltline Tour later this summer.  Volunteers picked up trash, pruned and removed unwanted vegetation--and did an especially nice job at the intersection with Fairfield Avenue and at a vacant house near Harrison.  NICE WORK EVERYONE!

Williams Woodland Park Planning Session & Cookout
Saturday June 29 from 3:00-6:00pm

In order to better serve our neighborhood, we want to understand the priorities of Williams Woodland Park's families and other constituents. What types of improvements and activities would you like to see happen in our neighborhood?

Please mark your calendar for 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29th to visit with neighbors and share your thoughts during a fun, interactive planning session. The goals and priorities established at the meeting will help to direct the Neighborhood Association's activities in the coming months and years. Your ideas matter!

Not hooked yet? We will also have refreshments and door prizes!  Door prizes will include $200 in gift cards.  We will wrap up the meeting around 5pm and then head to the Summers’ house (at the SW corner of Webster and Suttenfield) for a cookout potluck.  Please bring a dish to share, lawn chairs, and drinks.  They will provide the meat, cups, plates, and utensils.

Prior to the meeting, we invite you to complete a brief survey, which you can access at the link below.  Or fill out a paper copy included with the next issue of our monthly newsletter, and drop it in Ellen’s mailbox at 2417 Webster.  One of our door prizes will be reserved only for survey participants – a $25 gift card – which is not too shabby for 10 minutes of time.

TAKE SURVEY NOW
Please submit your completed surveys by Sunday June 9th.

We hope to see ALL of our neighbors there -- newcomers, old timers, owners, renters, landlords, and neighborhood business/non-profit representatives!
